Inspired Award:

Inspire Awards- Manak, Mentorship workshop 2022 was held at National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Surathkal on 24 th May 2022. The workshop saw the participation of 68 participants across Karnataka including student of our school Smitha H.
Inspire Awards- Manak, Mentorship workshop 2022 was held at National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Surathkal on 24 th May 2022. The workshop saw the participation of 68 participants across Karnataka including student of our school Smitha H.
After the inaugural, participants were divided in 5 categories based on the theme of their projects.
Later an introductory session was initiated in which all the participants introduced themselves and briefly explained about their project. Each participant was given time for interaction with their mentor. Professor Dr. Prashant MH. was the mentor for our student Smitha. With the valuable inputs of mentors, the participants were inspired to redefine their projects. Post lunch participants were taken to Metallurgy lab. Valedictory function was held at the end. Participation certificate was given to all the participants. The workshop was very enriching and motivated the participants to do their best at the national level.


AICS Chess Tournament:

We are proud to share that our students secured following ranks in the Online Chess Tournament organized by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara English Medium School, Ujire for AICS schools of Mangalore and Udupi Regions on 18th December 2021.

Lions Club Lady hill Mangalore in association with CFAL conducted Interschool science contest on September 15 2019. Pratham D of class VII secured III place and Shreevarna S Rao received merit recognition award.

DPS national Table tennis Championship tournament was held on 1st and 2nd August at DPS Maruti Kunj Gurugram under the aegis of DPS Society . Ishani Harish secured second Runner up trophy in Individual event.

Pratham D of class VI C secured 3rd place in the south zone held on 18th and 19th May 2019 at CISR Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad Telangana.

19.01.2019 and 20.01.2019: Vidhyarthi Vigyan Manthan:
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan initiated by Vigyana Bharathi in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and NCERT, an institution under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India conducts Science test using digital media. Some of our students participated and qualified for the State Level Camp which was held at Mysore Prathik – XC Krithi – XB Ruthran – IXC Saathwika – VIIIA Ananya Ullas – VIIB Pratham D – VIC Anirudh – VIC Anirudh of VIC bagged the III place with a cash prize of Rs.2000/- Pratham D of VIC secured the I place with a cash prize of Rs.5000/-. He is selected for the National Level which will be later this year.

09.09.2018: Inter-School Science Talent Contest:
Inter-School Science Talent Contest Organised by Lion’s Club. In which, Prathik Shetty and Naqeeb Sheikh of Class X, bagged the School Topper Prize. Ananya Ullas and Smitha H of Class VII B, were awarded the Merit Certificate.

23.07.2018: Achievements at the National Level DEEN DAYAL SPARSH YOJANA:
Devansh Jain (IX C) has appeared for the ‘Scholarship for Promotion and Research in Stamps’ as a hobby for class VIII under the “DEEN DAYAL SPARSH YOJANA” conducted by Department of Posts, Ministry of communications, Government of India; and has qualified for the award of Scholarship of Rupees SIX Thousand and Certificate of Merit. Sri Dayanand Devadiga – Inspector of posts, North Sub-Division, Mangalore Sri P. Dinesha – Assistant Superintendent of Posts, Mangalore Division and Sri Shankar R. – Marketing Executive, Honoured Devansh Jain with the Scholarship and Certificate of Merit.

A programme by INFOSYS Technologies limited. A two-week training programme on “Information Technology – Concepts and applications” was conducted by INFOSYS Technologies limited, Mangalore. Three of our students were selected and participated in the training programme.

CLASH OF PI...
