The CBSE Cluster VIII Table Tennis Tournament 2024-2025 was held at JSS Shri Manjunatheshwara Central School, Vidyagiri, Dharwad, from September 23 to September 25, 2024.
Under 17 Boys Category: Delhi Public School, MRPL, Mangalore secured 3rd place among 36
participating teams. The team members are Master Gaurav Sanil, Master Amogh Pandey, and Master Voleti Sayi Akash.
Under 14 Girls Category: Miss P. Gahana excelled and won 3rd place out of 16 teams.
Congratulations to all the players for their remarkable performances.

"Cool Serve" Table Tennis tournament
On August 29, 2024, DPS MRPL celebrated National Sports Day with the exciting "Cool Serve" Table Tennis tournament. In the Under-17 Girls category, the DPS MRPL team comprising of Abigail Jyotsa Rodrigues, Hansika Kulal, Gahana, and Akriti Mishra secured a second place. Chief Guest Shri K.S. Satish,CGM,MIG felicitated the winners.

On August 17, 2024, students from 17 schools across Dakshina Kannada gathered at Bellare, Sullia for the much-anticipated Speed Trailblazer 2024, organized by Jnana Ganga Central School. The event was part of the AICS Cross Country competition and showcased impressive athletic talent from young participants. DPS MRPL, proudly witnessed remarkable performances from two of our students.Riya Sha of Class 8B secured the 3rd place in the U/14 category, demonstrating exceptional endurance and speed. Anika of Class 8C shone brightly, securing the 5th place in the U/17 category.
Both Riya and Anika’s achievements are a testament to their dedication and hard work, bringing pride and glory to our school. We congratulate them on their outstanding performances and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.

DPS MRPL Shines at the AICS Table Tennis Tournament "Champions Champ"
The students of DPS MRPL showcased their exceptional talent and sportsmanship at the prestigious AICS Table Tennis Tournament "Champions Champ," held on 25th July 2024 at St. Theresa School, Mangalore. Their remarkable performances across various categories have brought pride and joy to the school
- Under 14 Girls:Demonstrating exceptional prowess, the team clinched the second runner-up position, showcasing their dedication and hard work.
- Under 17 Girls:The team secured the third runner-up position.
- Under 17 Boys: In a stunning performance, the team emerged as champions, bringing home the winners' trophy and adding another feather to the school's cap.
Hearty congratulations to Team DPS MRPL for their outstanding achievements and for bringing laurels to the school.
On July 7,2024 Hindu Dharmika Samithi in collaboration with Kreeda Bharati Mangalore hosted the Kesarugadde Kreedothsava, a slush Paddy Field sport festival in Krishnapura. This annual mega event featured a series of competitions like straight sprints both forward and backward, some with obstacles and turns, tug of war and treasure hunt to name a few for students and the general public held in waterlogged fields during the monsoon season creating a challenging and exhilarating environment for participants.
Around 40 students of DPS MRPL participated in various competitions held under different categories and won prizes both at individual level and as a team. The event commenced with a traditional ceremony paying homage to the local deities seeking blessings for the participants. The festival featured a strong sense of community with local residents coming together to support the young athletes. The event also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Dakshina Kannada district showcasing the traditional music and dance performances alongside the sporting events. Participants relished a variety of local cuisines. More than just a sporting event, Kesarugadde Kreedothsava is a celebration of tradition, community and youthful vigour bringing people together to revel in their shared heritage and the spirited performances of the participants.

Dakshina Kannada Athletic Association(R ) in association with Union Bank organized Dakshina Kannada Junior Athletics Meet-2019 at Mangala Stadium,Mangalore on 19th and 20th October 2019. Ms.Jyotsna Munnur Achal representing our school won II place in 100mts and 200mts race Under 16 girls category.We are proud of her achievements.
