On 02nd September 2024, Ms. Karthika Santosh, an esteemed alumnus of our school, currently working as a scientist at ISRO visited the school to address Class 10 students along with her parents. Ms. Karthika began by sharing her personal journey explaining how as an average student during her school days managed to reach the esteemed position of a scientist at ISRO. Her story of perseverance and determination resonated with the students as she emphasized the importance of never underestimating oneself. She urged the students to avoid low self-esteem and reassuring them that every individual holds the potential to achieve greatness regardless of their past academic achievement and struggles. The talk concluded with a brief question and answer session where students posed their queries about the challenges of being a scientist and also the career options at ISRO. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the guest of the day for sharing her valuable insights and also making time to visit her Alma Mater. The session served as a motivational boost to students encouraging them to realise their potential.
