An Orientation Programme was held on May 30th in the MRPL Employees Recreation Center for the parents of Nursery and LKG students. The event aimed to familiarize parents with the school’s ethos, policies, curriculum, and facilities, ensuring a smooth transition for both parents and children into the school community. The programme commenced with a warm welcome from the school Principal, Ms. Sheela Balamurali, who emphasized the importance of parental involvement in a child’s educational journey. She highlighted how critical this partnership is for the overall development and success of the children. Key information regarding school policies, including attendance, uniform, communication channel and discipline, was conveyed to ensure parents understood and could adhere to the school’s expectations. This session aimed to provide clarity and foster a cooperative relationship between the school and the parents. Parents also had the opportunity to interact with the dedicated teachers, who shared valuable tips on supporting their child’s learning journey. These interactions were designed to build a strong rapport between teachers and parents, encouraging a collaborative effort to enhance the children’s educational experience. Overall, the Orientation Programme was a successful event, setting a positive tone for the upcoming academic year and ensuring that parents felt well-prepared and welcomed into the school community.
